Dr. Jane Horan

Dr. Jane Horan, Founder of the Horan Group, is an expert in career and leadership transitions, political savvy, and cross-cultural leadership.

With over twenty years of work experience with companies such as Kraft, Disney and GE, Jane uses her work knowledge to help organisations build inclusive and engaged workplaces.

Her consulting work includes Fortune 100 firms such as: Agoda, BP, Barclays, Credit Suisse, HSBC, KKR, Unilever, HP, McDonalds, Microsoft, Monsanto, Jones Lang LaSalle, SingTel, Toshiba, AEON, VMWare, Globis, Hogan & Lovells, Simmons & Simmons and others.

Through her advisory work, coaching and workshops, she provides sound advice and practical tools to help organisations retain and engage global talent.

Dr. Horan has lectured in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University and the Hong Kong University.

She is currently Program Director with the Conference Board, and a Visiting Scholar at Hong Kong University.

She served for four years on the Board of Directors for the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) and two years on the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

Dr. Horan has lived, worked and studied in the US, China and Hong Kong, holds an Educational Doctorate from Bristol University and resides in Singapore. In 2008, she founded The Horan Group, a Singapore-based strategic consulting firm building inclusive work environments, emphasising leadership acceleration and workplace politics.

Her goal is to ensure employees, their sponsors and organizations move forward with emotional intelligence and purpose.
