You’re Not Alone. Finding Fortitude in 2020.

It’s not you. We’re all trying to figure it out, those of us fortunate enough to be able to work from home.

I’ve been facilitating online ”Finding Fortitude” sessions this past month and witnessed all emotions, cutting across gender, generation, culture and industry.

Settling into the current reality, here’s what I heard:

Day and night become indistinguishable: “I’ve been up till 4:00 am, not realising the time.” “I’m not certain if it’s coffee time or happy hour.”

Weekdays mesh into weekends: “I can’t remember what day it is…”

For some, boundaries collapse: “I’m not even sure I know who I am anymore.”

When you work from home, there’s definitely more time. No dressing up, no commute, no rush out the door. More time to think, to reflect. But WFH can also feel confining.
